
Worked on the THI-CSI/decentralized_iam_battery_data repository to deliver a security-focused backend for battery pass data management. Over two months, developed and enhanced API endpoints using Python and FastAPI, implementing HPKE-based encryption, role-based access control, and secure key management to protect sensitive data. Integrated cryptographic flows and permission-based access, supporting Verifiable Presentations and encrypted TinyDB storage. Expanded and consolidated API documentation with Swagger, improving clarity and onboarding for developers. Addressed configuration management and dependency updates to strengthen compliance and prevent regressions. Emphasized data validation, secure data sharing, and robust backend architecture, resulting in a safer, auditable API platform.
