Worked on enhancing storage capabilities in the ublue-os/bluefin repository by enabling Bcache volume support for improved Linux block device management. Addressed deployment reliability by re-adding the bcache-tools package to the build script, ensuring that required dependencies for bcache volumes were present in all builds. This technical approach involved Shell scripting within a DevOps workflow, focusing on stabilizing the storage deployment path and reducing friction during environment setup. The work was validated through targeted commits and testing, resulting in more consistent and reliable storage workloads. Utilized skills in Linux and Shell scripting to deliver this feature over the course of one month.
