Worked on the DiamondLightSource/mx-bluesky repository to implement secure and streamlined Zocalo configuration and secrets management within the Kubernetes deployment. Leveraged Helm to update the deployment process, introducing a dedicated ConfigMap for Zocalo configuration and mounting necessary secrets to enhance security and maintainability. Adjusted deployment scripts and documentation, ensuring that the integration supports faster onboarding and reduces deployment risk across environments. Utilized bash and yaml to manage configuration and automation tasks, focusing on production readiness. The work addressed configuration management challenges by simplifying the deployment workflow and improving the overall maintainability of the Kubernetes-based infrastructure for mx-bluesky.
