Pelash Choudhary enhanced deployment configurability and scheduling for the Warpstream-agent in the warpstreamlabs/charts repository. He introduced an optional ConfigMap with a standardized configMapEnabled flag, defaulting to enabled, and integrated these changes into the CI pipeline and release notes to ensure consistent configuration management. Using Helm and Kubernetes, Pelash also implemented pod affinity for test-connection pods, optimizing node placement and resource utilization. The work focused on YAML-based configuration and Helm Charts, addressing deployment reliability and reducing configuration drift. Over the month, Pelash delivered two features that deepened the chart’s flexibility, though no critical bugs were addressed during this period.
