In the Shopify/nixpkgs repository, addressed a build failure by removing the outdated parallel-disk-usage crate from the squirreldisk package, updating the cargoHash, and ensuring compatibility with newer Rust compiler versions. This improved CI reliability and streamlined release processes. In helix-editor/helix, contributed a new Dark Synthwave color theme by creating a TOML configuration file, enhancing UI, diagnostics, and syntax highlighting options. Utilized Nix, Rust, and TOML to deliver targeted improvements, demonstrating attention to dependency management and open-source readiness within a short timeframe.
