Worked on maintenance of the ghostty-org/ghostty repository, focusing on improving build reliability and repository hygiene. Addressed a critical issue in the Makefile by ensuring that the make clean command correctly removes the .zig-cache directory, rather than an incorrectly named path, which previously left stale cache files and caused inconsistent rebuilds. Utilized Makefile scripting and build automation skills to implement and document the fix, resulting in more predictable build outcomes and reduced CI noise. The work emphasized clear commit messaging and alignment with documentation standards, establishing a stable foundation for future development while maintaining a clean and reliable build environment.
