During August 2025, Pfei worked on the block/elasticgraph repository, focusing on code quality improvements centered around comment cleanup and terminology consistency. By standardizing code comments and aligning terminology, Pfei enhanced the readability and maintainability of the Ruby codebase, making it easier for new contributors to onboard and for future refactoring efforts. The work included targeted typo corrections, such as updating “re-used” to “reused” and “montonic” to “monotonic,” ensuring clarity throughout the documentation. Pfei applied best practices in commenting and unit testing, delivering a single feature that improved the overall clarity of the project without introducing new bug fixes.
