Developed a keyboard-driven Link Editor Shortcut for the Message Composer in the block/buzz repository, enabling users to open the link editor with Cmd+K when text is selected or the caret is on a link, and providing a global quick-search fallback when not applicable. The implementation focused on enhancing desktop user experience and consistency in link editing workflows. Leveraged React and TypeScript for frontend development, integrating ProseMirror for rich text editing and Playwright for comprehensive end-to-end testing. The work emphasized test-driven delivery, ensuring robust feature validation and preventing regressions, while improving overall productivity and reliability for link insertion and editing tasks.
