During April 2025, Pierrick Rouxel developed a base path configuration for Authelia within the truenas/apps repository, enabling the application to be served from a sub-directory behind a reverse proxy. He approached this by updating questions.yaml and docker-compose.yaml, allowing the server address to be set dynamically based on the deployment context. This configuration management work, using yaml and DevOps practices, addressed the need for flexible deployments and prepared the system for multi-tenant or sub-site scenarios.
