Worked on frontend UX improvements for the uw-coursemap repository, focusing on enhancing user interaction with course data. Delivered two features using Svelte and JavaScript, including robust empty-state handling for the Course Instructors tab and improved hover feedback on course page tabs. The InstructorWordCloud now renders only when instructors are present, and clear messaging appears for empty lists, reducing user confusion. CSS classes and accessible HTML structures were introduced to ensure consistent styling and navigation. All changes were tracked with clear, auditable commits, reflecting a methodical approach to UI/UX development and maintainability without introducing any new bugs during the period.
