During April 2025, work focused on enhancing the twangodev/uw-coursemap repository by delivering a targeted frontend feature aimed at increasing project visibility and community engagement. Using HTML and Svelte, a GitHub Redirect and Star call-to-action were implemented within the Announcement Component, replacing the previous link to Rate My Professors. The updated component now directs users to the project’s GitHub repository with revised copy encouraging them to star the project, aligning user interaction with open-source adoption goals. This feature was developed as a single, well-documented commit, reflecting a focused approach to frontend development and user engagement without addressing bug fixes.
