Piotr Kulasek extended the SAML2 Identity Provider plugin in the gravitee-access-management repository to support metadata-driven configuration through both file upload and URL input. By leveraging TypeScript and applying expertise in API development and identity management, Piotr enabled flexible and scalable onboarding of new Identity Providers. The new feature reduces manual configuration steps by allowing administrators to standardize IdP setup using metadata, which accelerates integration and improves consistency and security. This work involved close collaboration with other developers and focused on enhancing the plugin’s usability and maintainability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, reflecting a targeted engineering effort.
