During April 2025, PiperX Protocol contributed to the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository by updating the data pipeline for PiperX v2 and v3 volume metrics. PiperX replaced a hard-coded GraphQL endpoint with a dynamic connection to the production subgraph, ensuring the adapter now retrieves the most current production-ready data. This change improved both the freshness and reliability of the volume data consumed by the adapter. The work was implemented using TypeScript and leveraged GraphQL for efficient data querying. While the contribution focused on a single feature, it addressed a core integration challenge and demonstrated a solid understanding of data source management in production environments.
