Worked on enhancing telemetry data integrity in the ArduPilot/ardupilot repository by upgrading the CTUN climb rate logging system. Focused on aligning climb rate data with SI units, the developer converted measurements from centimeters per second to meters per second and transitioned the data type from int16_t to float for improved precision. This update required careful modification of the log structure to ensure consistency across data logging and flight telemetry streams. Utilizing C++ programming and embedded systems expertise, the work improved the accuracy of performance analysis and streamlined debugging, enabling more reliable diagnostics and facilitating cross-team analytics for flight data.
