During November 2025, Alex contributed to the ava-labs/core-extension repository by developing the DeFi Portfolio Tab, a new feature that allows users to view, sort, and filter decentralized finance assets within the portfolio section. Alex implemented protocol display cards and interactive sorting and filtering controls using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, focusing on enhancing asset management workflows and user experience. The work established a scalable foundation for future DeFi analytics and portfolio features, aligning with next-generation portfolio strategies. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, the implementation demonstrated depth in front end and full stack development practices.
