Worked on the Azure-Samples/cognitive-services-speech-sdk repository, focusing on improving runtime reliability and maintainability. Addressed a critical crash in the pattern matching logic by updating the CheckPattern function to skip empty phrases generated by optional groups, which enhanced both debuggability and stability in production environments. Implemented build-time hardening measures, including enabling Control Flow Guard and static CRT linking, as well as adding ProgramDatabase debug information for better crash reporting and diagnostics. Utilized C++ for development and debugging, with a strong emphasis on build configuration. All changes were validated through manual testing, ensuring readiness for deployment and collaborative code quality.
