Worked on the DataDog Terraform provider to enhance the stability and reliability of data quality monitors, focusing on backend development with Go. Addressed a critical issue where the application could panic if monitor_options were empty or nil by introducing defensive checks and helper accessors for safer data handling. Refactored the construction of monitor options into a dedicated helper function, improving maintainability and clarity. Expanded test coverage to include a range of scenarios, such as missing or empty optional blocks and arrays, ensuring robust validation. Updated CI artifacts to align with production endpoints, further reducing deployment risks and improving operational consistency.
