Worked on the R-E-A-L-iT/reality-odoo-master repository, focusing on backend development and bug fixing within an Odoo-based web analytics module. Addressed a runtime error in Website Visitor Tracking by implementing a guard to check for the existence of the visitor object before accessing its ip_address, thereby preventing NoneType crashes and stabilizing data collection. This Python-based solution improved the reliability of analytics by eliminating intermittent tracking failures. Collaborated on code reviews and testing to ensure the robustness of the fix. The work demonstrated a defensive programming approach, prioritizing stability and data integrity over new feature development during the project period.
