Worked on security hardening for the OpenLineage/OpenLineage repository by upgrading the AWS SDK to address CVE-2026-33871 and related Netty vulnerabilities. The update was delivered as a single, traceable commit with explicit references to the remediated CVEs, ensuring clear documentation and compliance. Focused on backend development and secure dependency management, the work prioritized minimizing disruption to ongoing development and release cycles while strengthening the project’s security posture. Utilized Groovy for implementation, demonstrating a methodical approach to vulnerability remediation and security compliance. The targeted upgrade process reflected careful risk management and attention to maintaining stability throughout the deployment lifecycle.
