Praveen Nandula enhanced the testability and configurability of the New Relic CLI installer in the newrelic/open-install-library repository by developing a feature that captures environment variables during test deployments. Using Ansible and YAML, Praveen implemented a new task that collects environment variable values and appends them to the env_vars fact, ensuring these variables are accurately passed throughout the installation process. This approach improved the reliability and reproducibility of continuous integration pipelines by enabling more flexible test configurations. The work demonstrated a focused application of DevOps and testing skills, addressing installation consistency and supporting more robust automated deployment scenarios.
