Worked on the android/snippets repository to deliver gesture-based navigation enhancements using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Developed the NavigationEventSnippets class to streamline gesture-driven navigation, focusing on simplifying animation logic and improving UI state management for a smoother user experience. Refactored animation handling by deriving gesture animation from backProgress and backEventState, which reduced unnecessary mutable Compose state and improved maintainability. Incorporated a NavigationEventHandler instance and aligned the codebase with recommended Compose patterns to enhance reliability and readability. Applied Spotless for code formatting, removed obsolete files, and co-authored commits to reflect collaborative contributions, emphasizing clean code practices and maintainable architecture.
