Worked on the ankidroid/Anki-Android repository, focusing on code quality and user experience improvements within Android development. Addressed maintainability by refactoring Kotlin code, specifically removing unused imports in PreviewerViewModel.kt to reduce Android Studio warnings and streamline the codebase. Enhanced the tag management workflow by implementing input validation in the TagsDialog, using Kotlin and XML to prevent duplicate tags and provide immediate error feedback to users. These changes improved both developer and user experiences by reducing potential errors and simplifying future maintenance. The work demonstrated attention to detail in UI/UX design and a methodical approach to incremental feature delivery.
