Worked on the NVIDIA/KAI-Scheduler repository to implement granular RBAC permissions for ResourceClaims binding, enabling secure and auditable status changes by the binder. Focused on aligning with Kubernetes v1.36+ RBAC patterns and integrating the DRA feature gate, the work reinforced least-privilege access throughout the ResourceClaims workflow. Developed and validated a fix to ensure DRA granular status authorization, supporting compliance with evolving Kubernetes security standards. The feature was delivered using Go and leveraged Kubernetes RBAC mechanisms to provide fine-grained control over resource claim modifications. This contribution enhanced the security posture and maintainability of resource management within the scheduler’s codebase.
