Worked on the basecamp/omarchy repository to automate the generation of colors.toml files from existing alacritty.toml configurations, streamlining theme management and deployment. Using Bash and Shell scripting, the developer created a workflow that ensures legacy themes without colors.toml files are brought up to standard while implementing safeguards to prevent overwriting existing configurations. This integration into the theme setting process reduced manual errors and accelerated theme rollout across the project. The work included improvements to command-line usability and permissions, and was developed collaboratively, as reflected by co-authored commits. The focus remained on maintainability, consistency, and efficient theme development practices.
