Developed and delivered a complete Pad9 keyboard firmware configuration for the qmk/qmk_firmware repository, introducing a new layout, keymap, encoder support, and BootMagic functionality. This work focused on enabling plug-and-play setup for Pad9 users and streamlining hardware onboarding for partners. The implementation leveraged C programming and embedded systems expertise, utilizing QMK firmware and JSON for configuration management. By integrating BootMagic, the firmware reduced setup complexity and improved user experience. The contribution was made through a focused commit, reflecting a targeted approach to feature delivery. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, emphasizing depth in feature development over breadth.
