Focused initially on stabilizing Markdown imports using TypeScript, delivering a targeted bug fix that preserved hard line breaks to ensure accurate rendering and prevent content corruption during ingestion. Subsequently, implemented a new dedupeSelectionRects function in JavaScript and React to eliminate duplicate selection rectangles in WebKit-based browsers, updating type definitions and expanding test coverage to maintain cross-browser consistency. This work improved both the reliability of Markdown processing and the visual correctness of text selection across different rendering engines.
