Worked on the flyteorg/flyte-sdk repository to address a critical issue in the Terminal UI, focusing on accurate duration reporting for previous runs. Updated the timing tracking logic and refined UI components to ensure execution times reflected actual start and end times, rather than defaulting to zero. This Python-based solution improved the integrity of run histories and analytics, supporting more reliable time-based metrics for users. Leveraged full stack development and testing skills to deliver a targeted bug fix, with changes clearly traceable to a single commit, enabling efficient code review and rollback while reducing user confusion around run durations.
