Developed support for IDPS Gateway Policies and Rules within the vmware/terraform-provider-nsxt repository, enabling Terraform users to manage IDPS policies, rules, and related data sources through infrastructure as code. The work involved implementing new Terraform resources for gateway policies, policy rules, and parent policies, as well as a data source for IDPS Gateway Policy, all written in Go. Comprehensive acceptance testing was conducted, including 11 Go-based tests and 34 manual scenarios, to ensure reliability and correctness. Detailed documentation accompanied each resource, supporting user adoption and maintainability. All changes were tracked and linked to the relevant Jira issue for traceability.
