During October 2024, Venture contributed to the espressif/qemu repository by enabling AT24C device support for ASPEED-based platforms. Venture implemented this feature in C, focusing on configuration management and device driver integration within embedded systems. The work involved updating KConfig to ensure that AT24C functionality is available on boards that require this device, thereby improving hardware emulation coverage and reducing integration risks for downstream builds. By laying the foundation for AT24C emulation, Venture addressed compatibility needs and facilitated smoother quality assurance processes.
