Worked on the datacommonsorg/data repository to enhance data quality and maintainability in January 2026, focusing on production data pipelines for the World Bank WDI and BLS CPI datasets. Addressed two key bugs by correcting the Channel Islands dcid in the World Bank dataset processing and improving data integrity in the BLS CPI script by replacing non-numeric values with NULL. Applied Python scripting and data cleaning techniques, while also updating documentation and enforcing linting standards to support long-term code reliability. Collaborated across teams through clear commit messages and co-authored contributions, ensuring more robust data ingestion and streamlined bug triage processes.
