Worked on the zulip/zulip repository to enhance Docker-related documentation, focusing on clarifying group membership behavior for users. Addressed a recurring support issue by specifying that after adding a user to the Docker group, a logout and login are required for changes to take effect, rather than a full system reboot. Also documented the necessity of having the Docker daemon running for command functionality. This update, implemented using Markdown and leveraging DevOps and Docker expertise, aimed to streamline onboarding and reduce confusion. The work improved the accuracy of technical guidance, ultimately decreasing potential support overhead for new and existing contributors.
