Worked on the DragonBluep/openwrt repository to deliver PCIe-based 5G modem support for the Deco X80-5G platform, enabling carrier-grade 5G operation by updating device tree configurations and integrating MHI modules into the default image. Addressed a hardware misconfiguration by correcting the w_disable GPIO pin assignment, restoring proper 5G functionality. All changes were implemented through targeted Linux kernel development and device tree source (DTS) updates, ensuring compatibility with upstream OpenWrt and future revisions. Utilized C and dts languages to maintain upstream-friendly wiring and robust embedded systems integration, focusing on maintainability and alignment with ongoing Qualcomm IPQ807x platform enhancements.
