Developed and delivered a customizable Miro OAuth2 scope field for the n8n-io/n8n repository, enabling users to specify authentication scopes directly within the user interface. This feature improved both user experience and security by clarifying scope configuration and ensuring accurate scope transmission during the OAuth2 authentication flow. The implementation involved TypeScript and focused on robust API development and OAuth2 integration, with comprehensive unit testing added to validate the new field’s visibility and behavior. By exposing and making the scope field editable, the work addressed a key usability gap and enhanced regression safety through automated test coverage for the new functionality.
