Worked on openwrt/luci, focusing on front end development to enhance UI accuracy and data integrity. Addressed a bug in the network status panel by correcting the port speed unit label from Mibit/s to Mbit/s, ensuring the interface accurately reflected the kernel’s decimal Mbps reporting. Used JavaScript to implement a precise, single-commit patch that improved consistency between kernel data and the Luci UI, reducing potential user confusion and support requests. Demonstrated disciplined repository collaboration and clear communication through proper sign-off and messaging. The work strengthened user trust by aligning displayed network information with underlying system data sources.
