Developed multi-window replay support for the LunarG/gfxreconstruct project on Android, enabling the application to manage multiple SurfaceViews through a newly introduced ReplayActivity. This work required integrating Java and native C++ code using JNI to facilitate seamless window management across language boundaries. The implementation carefully aligned with Android’s lifecycle and UI threading constraints to ensure stable and reliable operation of multi-window replay scenarios. Leveraging skills in Android development, graphics programming, and CMake, the developer focused on delivering a robust feature that expands the project’s capabilities without introducing regressions, demonstrating a methodical approach to cross-platform and cross-language engineering challenges.
