During January 2026, work focused on enhancing the YaLTeR/niri repository by implementing tablet input context mapping to the active display. This feature introduced a new configuration option, enabling tablet devices to dynamically bind input to the currently focused output, which improved accuracy and usability in multi-display environments. The approach emphasized configuration management and input-device context handling, leveraging Rust for robust system programming. All changes were tracked with clear, auditable commits, supporting maintainability and traceability.
