During the month, contributed to the phalcon/cphalcon repository by enhancing the Query Builder to support complex ORDER BY expressions, addressing advanced sorting and reporting requirements in database-driven applications. This work involved extending SQL generation logic to handle intricate ordering scenarios while maintaining compatibility with existing queries. The implementation was carried out using PHP and Zep, leveraging skills in database management and query optimization. To ensure reliability and prevent regressions, comprehensive unit tests were added, expanding coverage for these new features. The changes improved the flexibility and robustness of query construction, enabling developers to express more sophisticated data ordering within their applications.
