The work involved adding binary firmware image files and updating the WHENCE documentation to accurately reflect new driver and licensing details, ensuring compliance for distribution. Leveraging expertise in firmware integration and binary file management, the developer enabled proper packaging and documentation practices required for open-source firmware contributions. The approach emphasized clarity in licensing and technical documentation, supporting maintainability and future driver compatibility.
