During November 2024, Batta delivered firmware support for the Qualcomm DU (QDU100) in the NVIDIA/linux-firmware repository, focusing on firmware integration and binary-level development. Batta added the QDU100 firmware image files and updated the WHENCE documentation to accurately reflect new driver and licensing information, ensuring compliant distribution. This work enabled MHI driver support by packaging the necessary firmware, addressing integration requirements for Qualcomm hardware within the Linux ecosystem. The contribution demonstrated a focused approach to firmware delivery, documentation, and licensing, leveraging skills in binary firmware integration and technical documentation to meet the repository’s standards for hardware enablement and open-source compliance.
