During July 2025, Zheng developed granular modular provisioning features for the GoogleCloudPlatform/cloud-foundation-toolkit repository, enabling per-module blueprint requirements and enhancing module name parsing to support more robust infrastructure as code workflows. Leveraging Go, HCL, and Makefile, Zheng introduced conditional parsing and metadata-driven configuration, allowing teams to define roles and services at the module level and reduce configuration drift. In the terraform-google-modules/terraform-google-pubsub repository, Zheng implemented per-module Pub/Sub subscription definitions with structured metadata, improving flexibility for various subscription types. Expanded test coverage and automated documentation generation further strengthened module reliability and accelerated onboarding, reflecting a thoughtful, maintainable engineering approach.
