In August 2025, delivered the Standard SSD Performance Test Suite for the microsoft/lisa project, expanding performance validation capabilities for standard SSDs. The work added 'standardssd' as a valid DiskType and introduced two new test cases in storageperf.py to benchmark 4K and 1024K block sizes, enabling reliable performance characterization for this disk type. No critical bugs were reported this month. Overall impact: enhanced benchmarking coverage supports customer decision-making and reduces risk in storage deployments.
