Worked on the Orange-OpenSource/community.zabbix repository to address cross-version reliability issues in the Zabbix UI. Focused on server administration and configuration management, the developer refactored the DocumentRoot logic within the apache_vhost.conf.j2 Jinja2 template to dynamically select the correct UI directory based on the zabbix_web_version. This targeted bug fix resolved incorrect UI loading across different Zabbix versions, improving deployment stability and reducing potential support issues. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of Jinja2 templating and Apache VirtualHost configuration in a multi-version environment, ensuring that the Zabbix UI loads consistently regardless of the deployed version or environment.
