During May 2025, Juan Antonio Medac developed the foundational user authentication system for the JuanAntonioMedac/ED_WEB_2024_2025 veterinary application. He implemented a secure login workflow using Java and Java Swing, creating GUI forms with username and password fields and a main login class to manage authentication logic. The project was structured within the NetBeans IDE, establishing a collaborative environment and clear project scaffolding. By focusing on database connection and GUI development, Juan enabled controlled access to the application, addressing initial security requirements and laying the groundwork for future enhancements such as role-based access control and more advanced authentication features.
