Developed an automated documentation generator for the Cluster Autoscaler in the rancher/autoscaler repository, focusing on reducing manual maintenance and improving onboarding for operators and developers. Leveraging Bash and Go, implemented a script that parses the cluster-autoscaler --help output to dynamically produce an up-to-date FAQ.md containing all parameters, descriptions, and default values. This approach ensured documentation accuracy by aligning it directly with code changes, eliminating the need for manual updates. The work demonstrated strong automation and scripting skills within a Kubernetes context, enhancing documentation reliability and making technical information more accessible and searchable for the project’s user base.
