Contributed a targeted UI enhancement to the jitsi/jitsi-meet repository by enabling text selection for participant names within the Speaker Stats feature. This change addressed a practical need for moderators to quickly copy names for attendance tracking and streamlined administrative workflows. The solution involved overriding default CSS user-select properties using CSS-in-JS techniques, ensuring consistent copy-paste functionality across browsers without disrupting existing UI behavior. Implemented with React and TypeScript, the update was delivered with minimal code changes and maintained alignment with the project’s architectural standards. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts focused on improving usability and accessibility.
