Worked on stabilizing network policy configurations for datanodes within the bitnami/charts repository, focusing on correcting a critical typo in the YAML configuration that affected the allowExternalEgress value. Applied a targeted patch using Helm and Kubernetes best practices to ensure egress rules were properly referenced, directly improving the reliability and security of datanode connectivity. This precise bug fix reduced the risk of misconfigured egress, supporting safer production deployments and smoother cluster operations. Demonstrated attention to detail in network policy management and efficient code review, contributing to improved policy correctness and lower operational risk for Kubernetes-based environments using YAML.
