Worked on the msys2/MINGW-packages repository to address a critical build issue affecting static library linkage and dependency resolution for the gpg-error library under Meson. Focused on improving build reliability and cross-platform portability by refining how pkg-config handles private dependencies, switching to standard library flags to resolve Meson linker errors related to Windows path translation and gettext dependencies. Utilized Makefile and Shell scripting to ensure static builds on Windows were robust and reproducible across environments.
