Parthiv Pradeep enhanced the EOX-A/EOxElements repository by developing a feature for WMTSCapabilities that preserves and merges user-provided dimensions with default values when fetching map capabilities. Using JavaScript and front end development skills, Parthiv implemented robust logic in optionsFromCapabilities to ensure user preferences, such as time, consistently take precedence over defaults. This approach prevents overwriting user-specified dimensions after parsing, enabling more flexible and user-driven map configurations. The work included associating changes with specific commit references for traceability and future audits. Over the month, Parthiv focused on deepening the dimension merging logic, resulting in more maintainable and customizable mapping capabilities.
