Worked on the EOX-A/EOxElements repository to enhance the reliability of URL-driven state management in a front end JavaScript application. Focused on improving the update-url helper, the developer addressed a bug where multi-value URL search parameters were previously overwritten instead of appended. By ensuring each value in an array is added as a separate parameter, the fix preserved all intended values and reduced edge-case issues for features relying on complex filtering or searching. The solution was implemented with a targeted, isolated approach, leveraging JavaScript and front end development skills to minimize regression risk while improving robustness across the application’s parameter handling.
