Worked on the FoundationAgents/OpenManus repository to deliver Auto Tool Selection for planning components, focusing on enhancing AI-driven workflows. The implementation involved switching the tool_choice parameter from REQUIRED to AUTO within both PlanningAgent and PlanningFlow, allowing the system to automatically select appropriate tools during planning tasks. This adjustment reduced the need for manual configuration and enabled more flexible, automated decision-making processes. The work was tracked in a dedicated commit and described in both English and Chinese, reflecting attention to documentation. Python was used throughout, leveraging skills in AI development, agent development, and tool integration to streamline planning logic and improve workflow efficiency.
