Worked on the facebook/facebook-for-woocommerce repository to enhance the reliability of Facebook Product Sync for WooCommerce stores. Focused on backend development using PHP, the work involved relaxing validation rules to support a wider range of product types and enabling the syncing of hidden items for improved catalog completeness. Implemented a centralized truncation strategy for product titles and descriptions, introducing constants and a reusable helper to standardize data handling and prevent backend issues as product volume increases. These changes improved data consistency and laid the foundation for higher-volume sync scenarios, demonstrating a methodical approach to plugin development and e-commerce integration challenges.
